Amaterasu Translations' patch for CROSS†CHANNEL has three levels of translation notes (tl notes): none, some, and all. The "some" level was culled of all tl notes we felt the average otaku wouldn't need, so we call that level "otaku." For similar reasons, the "all" level is called "noob."  These terms are included in the lists below for your convenience and curiosity (be aware that several of these placements were hotly debated by the staff).  There are some tl notes that appear for both levels, but were phrased differently for each, in which case the two versions are labeled "noob-only" and "otaku-only."

For my convenience in arranging these, the notes are grouped by the script file they appear in. I've appended a phrase-long summary/title to each script filename, in addition to copying at least one line of in-game text near the tl note, so hopefully you have all the context needed to understand each one.

Also, all notes whose content appears at least once more in the game after the note itself (in other words, all the notes you should try to remember for later) are marked with a tilda.

This list currently contains all tl notes in the "complete" patch. There is a possibility that some of these have been edited since this list was made, and are therefore slightly inaccurate.

Essentially a bedtown.

*"the inescapable passion of an upside-down triangle" is Taichian for "the mind of a woman's underwear."
*Groiny......Taichian for "the mind of the crotch." Without a doubt, he's personifying it.
*Direhara = Taichian for direct sexual harassment. Mostly immature indecency such as exposing genitalia and making a female touch them. Topknot, detonation switch, single-hook fishing, etc. Depending on the situation they may be seen as perverted conduct.
*eero = Taichian for a heroic being with erotic behavior.
*comic force = A suprascientific theory of Taichian science combining scalar electromagnetism, the astrophysical theory of aether, flying machines and so on. It simultaneously accelerates and mitigates various physical phenomena.
*Lovelatio = Taichian for general fondling of the lips and mouth......maybe. Origin unknown. It appears to come from love + fellatio.
